VS2005 SP1 opens floating windows on debug

description

After installing SP1 for VS2005 (Pro), if any window other than the code/designer window (e.g. the SolutionExplorer or TaskList) has focus when you start debugging and VSWindowManager is installed, all windows available in VS will be opened as floating windows and all saved layout settings will be lost.

Workaround: restart VS and import your previously saved settings.

I'd say this issue should warrant an Impact of HIGH. When this happens, it makes the debug session completely useless. This issue is a show stopper for me essentially rendering a good addin, useless! I've attached a screenshot of the resulting layout.

You know what, now its completely unstable. Having the cursor focus in the code or design window before starting debug does not stop the floating window problem. It's getting un-installed until this major bug fix can be corrected. I think it's a great little addin but not very stable. Incidentally, I'm running Windows Vista with the Visual Studio patch version 8.0.50727.867 (vsvista.050727-8600)
